Hybrid Budget & Financial Analyst for Academic Programs

Overview The USC Annenberg School Journalism Director's Office is seeking a highly experienced Budget/Business Analyst to join its high‑performing team. Responsibilities Provide day‑to‑day financial processing for 45+ full‑time faculty. Perform financial reconciliation and general financial processing. Troubleshoot financial issues and resolve problems. Coordinate year‑end financial transactions and closing activities. Assist faculty and staff with travel reimbursements, requisitions, purchasing supplies and equipment, and ensure compliance with financial policies. Qualifications Strong university budget experience , knowledge of university financial systems and USC policies and procedures. Strong computer skills with solid Microsoft Excel experience. Bachelor's degree (or combined education/experience as a substitute for minimum education). At least 1 year of related work experience (preferred 2 years).
