RN Charge - Inpatient Rehabilitation

Location: Madison, Wisconsin

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 18:30 - 07:00 (12-hour shifts); every other weekend and holiday rotations required.

Job Description: We are seeking a qualified RN Charge for our inpatient rehabilitation unit. This role requires extensive experience in both management and direct patient care. The primary focus will be to lead a team while providing high-quality care to patients with diverse rehabilitation needs.

Responsibilities:

• Manage patient care in a high-acuity environment.
• Support nursing staff and assist with patient safety initiatives.
• Ensure timely medication administration and documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Guide and mentor less experienced nursing staff as needed.
• Participate in ongoing staff training and orientation programs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience in a skilled nursing or 24/7 skilled care environment.
• At least 13 weeks of experience in Epic.
• Managerial experience required.
• Must have Med-Surg or inpatient rehabilitation experience related to patient acuity.
• Current BLS certification.
