We are seeking an experienced Controller to join a well-established higher education organization in Springfield, Ohio. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing accounting operations, financial reporting, audits, cash management, and regulatory compliance. Qualificati onsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fie ld.3+ years of progressive accounting or finance experien ce.Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporti ng.Experience managing audits and month-end/year-end close process es.Advanced Microsoft Excel skil ls.Leadership or supervisory experience preferr ed.CPA or CPA candidate preferr ed.Higher education experience preferr ed.Nonprofit and grant/fund accounting experience highly desirab le.Experience with accounting/ERP systems; Ellucian Colleague experience is a pl us.
