Job Position: Quality Assurance Assistant

Location: LEBANON, TN 37087

Shift: 1ST SHIFT

Pay: $17 - $20/ hour DOE

Description: Quality Assurance Assistant - 1st shift (7a - 4p)

Must be able to read a tape measure and read blueprints

This QA Assistant will be responsible for receiving parts and inspecting them for quality.

Inspecting product using industry-appropriate methods, such as comparing to standards, measuring dimensions and examining functionality
Checking that the assembly or production line adheres to standards and procedures and complying with legal requirements
Reviewing blueprints and specifications to compare to produced goods
Recording inspection results by completing reports, summarizing re-works and wastes and inputting data into quality database
Keeping measurement equipment operating accurately by following calibration requirements and calling for repairs
Using tape measures to measure products
Collecting and compiling quality data

Good communication skills and attention to detail required.
