Graduate Advisor

Supporting online graduate education students, the part-time Graduate Advisor will develop action plans, provide individual advising, and promote student success and retention in a remote setting. Key responsibilities Provide academic advising, including assistance with registration, major selection, and course withdrawals Conduct comprehensive needs assessments and promote ongoing student engagement to enhance retention and graduation rates Design and deliver workshops focused on student wellness and academic skills, while making referrals to additional support services Required qualifications Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred Knowledge of graduate education, teacher preparation, and online learning environments Experience in higher education with student information systems and retention management tools Ability to build rapport with diverse student populations; bilingual in English/Spanish preferred Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications Virtual Vocations Inc
