Evaluatechangesinbiddocumentsasnecessarywithrespecttotheimplicationstoscope,cost,andtheriskprofileofthepursuit.Coordinate,overseeandevaluatethequantitytake-offforpursuits,highlightingimportantdetailssuchasaccess,phasing,productionconstraints,magnitudesofscope,etc.Attendpre-bidmeetingsandsitevisitstoevaluateprojectconstraintsandtheirimplicationstothedevelopmentofaprofitablecostestimateforthepursuit.Leadprojectvisitanddocumentexistinggroundconditionsandpotentialrisksoftheproject.Identifyandcontacttherequiredsubcontractors,suppliersandserviceproviders,andrequestscopeclarificationsandquotes,ensuringsufficient(minimumoftwoquotesforeachscope)coveragewhilemitigatingallknownandpotentialscopegaps.Utilizehistoricalcostandproductiondatatodeveloptimelyandaccurateestimates.Identify,analyze,categorize/prioritize,evaluate,communicate,andmitigatetherisksassociatedwiththepursuit. Tabulatetheestimatedcostanddurationforeachactivitybasedontherequirementsforlabor,equipment,materials,andsubcontractorsofeachactivityensuringthepursuitcanbecarriedoutprofitably.Completetheestimate,produceascheduleandotherexecutivelevelsummarydocuments,allowingenoughtimepriortosubmissionofthebid,foradetailedpeer/managementreviewofthepursuit.
