Location: Birmingham, AL Position Type: Full-Time or Part-Time Schedule: Monday-Thursday | 8:00 AM-4:00 PM Weekend: Weekend opportunities available Pay: $500/day or 30% of collections, whichever is higher Sign-On Bonus: Available for full-time candidates Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Associate Dentist for a full-time or part-time opportunity in Birmingham, AL. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of dental experience and provide high-quality, patient-centered general dental care. A sign-on bonus is available for full-time candidates. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive general dentistry, including examinations, diagnoses, treatment planning, and restorative care. Perform procedures including extractions, root canals, crowns, bridges, prosthodontics, oral surgery, and dental implants. Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, procedures, and post-treatment care. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using electronic dental systems. Follow HIPAA, infection control, and state dental regulations. Practice effective four-handed dentistry and collaborate with the dental team. Maintain a high standard of patient safety, comfort, and quality of care. Stay current with advancements in dental technology and treatment techniques. Requirements Active Alabama Dental License. Minimum 1 year of dental experience. New graduates are not being considered for this position. DEA registration/certification and Controlled Substance Certification. Current CPR Certification. Strong clinical, communication, and patient-care skills. Experience with general dentistry procedures, including restorative dentistry, extractions, root canals, crowns, bridges, and implants. Familiarity with electronic dental records and dental terminology. Commitment to infection control and patient safety. Compensation & Benefits $500 per day or 30% of collections, whichever is higher. Sign-on bonus available for full-time candidates. 401(k) available after 1 year. Paid malpractice insurance after 1 year. Up to $5,000 in paid continuing education (CE) after 1 year.
