This position serves as a daily leader and role model for the nursing team, promoting a positive, respectful, and collaborative work environment. During times of high patient census the Charge Nurse will also provide hands-on patient care.RequirementsMust be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), required.Current Registered Nurse License issued by the Kansas State Board of Nursing, or multi-state compact license.Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification, and Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) Certification are required.
