Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Welder role in Forest Grove, OR. Key Responsibilities: Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding on a variety of metal components and structures according to specifications and blueprints. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly. Operate and maintain welding equipment, grinders, cutting torches, and other fabrication tools safely and efficiently. Inspect welded surfaces and structures to identify defects and ensure compliance with quality standards. Measure, cut, and prepare materials prior to welding and fabrication processes. Follow all workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Collaborate with production and fabrication teams to meet project timelines and production goals. Perform routine equipment checks and report any maintenance or repair needs to supervisors. Accurately document completed work, materials used, and production data as required. Assist with additional shop duties and production tasks as needed. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; welding certification or prior welding/fabrication experience preferred. Ability to read blueprints, use measuring tools, and understand welding symbols. Experience with MIG, TIG, Stick, or Flux-Core welding processes is preferred. Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced industrial environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills. Flexibility to work varying shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed. Knowledge of workplace safety standards and proper PPE usage required. What We Offer: Competitive hourly wage. $18-$25 DOE.
