Material Handler - Warehouse

VEKA EAST INC. 90 Ceramic Tile Drive Morganton, NC 28655, USA Responsibilities Drive fork truck carefully and safely; report all incidents immediately to the Shift Supervisor or Superintendent. Unload, strip, and clean empty material handling racks, and remove box ends as they arrive from VEKA’s customers. Record empty rack numbers and MRA material on rack receipts. Deliver empty material handling racks to the production floor and move material handling racks with VEKA products to the back lot. Load material handling racks with scrap material and customer cut-off boxes onto trailers for recycling. Move products and other objects as required by job assignment to various locations. Inspect condition of material handling racks and take broken racks to maintenance for repair. Weigh customer cutoffs and production scrap. Maintain accurate clerical records. Work rotating 12‑hour shifts. Perform all other duties as assigned. Skills Certified fork truck operator license Dependability, accountability, and responsiveness are essential. Ability to work independently and with accuracy. Ability to maintain a positive attitude in high‑pressure situations. Good collaboration skills in a tactful and diplomatic manner.
