Travel RN - Cath Lab/EP

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP RN with at least 2 years of specialty experience and a WV or compact RN license for a travel assignment with call and weekend requirements. Requirements Active WV or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab/EP experience required IR experience a plus Previous travel experience preferred Skilled in cardiac cath lab procedures including left and right heart catheterizations, PCI, stent placement, and Impella insertion Experience with EP procedures such as cardioversion and pacemaker insertion preferred Proficient in sheath removal/monitoring, vascular closure systems, and procedural sedation monitoring Driver's license required, with address matching permanent residence Flu vaccine required, with medical and religious exemptions considered case-by-case Responsibilities Work in the Cath Lab unit performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures Setting includes Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, Pre/Post Procedure, and Special Procedures areas Day shift schedule of 4x10 hours, 7:00am-5:30pm, Monday-Friday Alternate schedule of 84 hours per two-week pay period on a one-week 3x12, next-week 4x12 rotation 1-2 call shifts per week and 1-2 weekends per month required Float required within scope of practice Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated Scrubs and lead apron provided for cases Must reside within 30 minutes of the facility for STEMI call response Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be considered; local candidates not accepted Up to 7 days of RTO considered; must be submitted upfront with no changes accepted Must work either a major or minor holiday during the assignment Travelers who have completed one year must take a minimum 6-month break before returning Minimal traveler pairs accepted, and pairs will not be scheduled on the same shift or unit First-time travelers are welcome to apply Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts Job ID: P-776087 Open Positions: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr American Traveler, LLC.
