CONTENT STRATEGIST We Realize Potential inYourStory We are a multi-platform production company, social media agency, and digital media network who are currently on a quest to find a Content Strategist to join our Social Video Services team - Is this your next opportunity? The Content Strategist ensures the department deliverables are of the highest standard, and that we are simultaneously delivering and innovating on our creative output for top tier clients. This role works collaboratively across all departments at Little Dot Studios and is a key part of establishing and maintaining our creative identity as a company. This role supports all creative content development across the SVS team, supporting platform managers and strategists to make content that outperforms the benchmark. They may support in the trend report, proposals, playbooks, competitive reports, etc to take our content strategies to the next level. They will work on creating, optimizing and distributing video content for YouTube and social video platforms across a range of verticals. They should expect to serve as mentors for platform managers that show interest in creative development and content strategy. PERKS OF THE JOB Stay healthy with a monthly health & wellness stipend and free access to counseling sessions Enjoy regular Happy Hours, treats and events with your team Plan ahead with a 401K retirement fund Support your family with medical, dental & vision insurance Invest in your growth both personally & professionally with our Learning & Development Program Take flex time off for vacations, family time, or mental health days Enjoy long summer weekends by working half days on Friday HOW YOU WILL SPEND YOUR TIME Ideating creative video concepts for globally known brands on social video platforms Using a blend of platform data, current trends and creative instincts to inform channel strategy Effectively communicating and/or pitching your ideas to internal teams and clients Creating eye catching images, GIFs and social posts Writing compelling on-brand copy for posts, understanding the importance of editorial voice and tone Using YouTube analytics to help inform strategic channel decisions WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED Skills matter, experience is useful, attitude is everything. 3+ years of social media and/or related digital marketing experience Team Management Experience Excellent knowledge of YouTube and social video platforms and a clear awareness of the differences between them when it comes to effective native video content An in-depth understanding of YouTube analytics and how they should inform platform-specific creative Excellent skills in Adobe Photoshop and Premiere - After Effects is a bonus! Experience producing social video (timecodes) Highly creative, online native, and constantly up to date on social trends Great communication, both written and verbal Excellent client management skills with demonstrable experience Excellent attention to detail and ability to proof-check your own work Team player with a hard-working flexible attitude, a good sense of humour and an interest in working in a dynamic start-up environment Proficiency in other languages (bonus) Candidates must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
