As a behavior therapist you work with children and families in clinic, home, daycares, and/or community settings (outings). You use play and daily routines to teach children with developmental disabilities a variety of skills. Using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Pivotal Response Treatment (PRT) we strive to create a world without limits.Responsibilities of the Registered Behavior Therapist (RBT):Work 1:1 with clients using ABA and PRT StrategiesComplete data collection, in-service notes and procedures as outlined by SupervisorsParticipate in all trainings, evaluations and team meetingsCommunicate frequently and effectively with team membersBring required materials as needed (toys, iPad, etc. provided by In STEPPS)Follow schedule as determined by administrative staff and supervisors.Comply with all reporting requirements of the company, including all administrative, payroll submissions, billing information, etc., on a timely basis.Requirements:High School Diploma required; Associates and Bachelor’s Degree preferred.RBT Certificate (for active RBT's) Preferred; .ABA Behavior Therapists welcomed to applyReliable car, proof of auto insurance, and valid driver's license required!Clean criminal background check.4-8 months of experience in an ABA position preferred or experience in a similar field.The above job description is meant to describe the general nature and level of work being performed; it is not intended to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, and skills required for the position.
