Job Description:
We are looking to fill a Production Maintenance Technician I / Mold Cleaner position immediately. This is a hands-on role working in a fast-paced production environment, focused on preventive maintenance and basic repairs on facility and process equipment. This position follows a “flow to the work” approach, so flexibility and a strong work ethic are key. The right candidate takes ownership of their work, communicates clearly, and follows through on tasks.

Day-to-day responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance using written instructions, checking equipment for wear, replacing parts like belts, hoses, filters, and fluids, and making basic repairs to pumps, valves, steam traps, and electrical or pneumatic components. You’ll also complete routine equipment checks during shift rounds, documenting things like pressure, temperature, and performance. General maintenance work in the process area, including working on air, steam, and hydraulic systems, is part of the job. All work orders must be completed and logged properly in the system, and communication with site leadership is important, especially if delays or parts are needed.

This role requires working safely at all times, keeping your work area clean, and following all safety procedures. You’ll need to be comfortable using ladders, lifts, and equipment like forklifts or boom lifts (training provided if needed). The job involves being on your feet most of the day, lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally, and working in an industrial setting with proper PPE.
 

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of mechanical experience, including basic electrical, plumbing, or carpentry work. A valid driver’s license is required, and experience operating equipment like forklifts or lifts is a plus. You should be able to read basic instructions, complete simple reports, and communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
