Licensed Practical Nurse - Med Surg (PRN | Days)

The Staff Pad has partnered with a premiere hospital in Russellville, AL to hire a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse – Med Surg (PRN) for a dynamic inpatient care team.

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you’ll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an LPN who values teamwork, clinical excellence, and flexibility while making a meaningful difference in patients’ lives every day. 

This position works collaboratively with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams to deliver high-quality patient care, promote positive outcomes, and ensure adherence to hospital policies, procedures, and clinical standards.

What You’ll Do

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and accurately document findings
  
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders
  
• Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to any changes in status
  
• Develop, implement, and revise individualized patient care plans
  
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and support staff
  
• Educate patients and families on treatments, recovery, and ongoing care
  
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
  
• Uphold hospital standards for safety, quality, and infection control
  

What We’re Looking For

• Active LPN license in the state of Alabama
  
• At least 3 months of nursing experience required
  
• Acute care experience preferred
  
• Strong clinical judgment and critical-thinking abilities
  
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospital setting
