Job Details Position: Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Employment Type: Travel Nursing Job Location: Columbus, OH 43210 Start Date: 11/2/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift Duration: 12-hour nights Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts per week Hours Per Week: 36 Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940 - $2,040 Orientation: 24 hours Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend Float: May float to other areas when needed Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse license in hand at time of submission Minimum 1 year of recent nursing experience Ability to pass a telemetry test Experience monitoring telemetry patients preferred BLS and ACLS certification required Epic experience required Strong clinical skills in PCU, step-down, telemetry, or progressive care nursing Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical progressive care environment Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care for post-surgical and progressive care patients Monitor telemetry and recognize changes in patient condition quickly Administer medications and manage IV therapies according to unit protocols Support patients recovering from bariatric, colorectal, and other general surgical procedures Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary team members to promote safe, effective patient care Maintain accurate documentation and use Epic for charting and communication Respond appropriately to patient needs, including escalation to rapid response when needed Float to other areas as assigned based on unit needs Apply now for this Travel RN Progressive Care Unit job in Columbus, Ohio and join a supportive healthcare team today.
