Space Vehicle Electrical Test Engineer Sr - CLEARANCE REQUIRED

Description Lockheed Martin Space is looking for a Space Vehicle Electrical Test Engineer to work within the Space Protection Programs organization. The role focuses on end‑to‑end space security system integration and testing, including test planning, execution, documentation, and anomaly resolution. Responsibilities Lead systems integration and test execution efforts. Develop, review, and maintain test artifacts. Oversee subsystem and system‑level test execution. Document test results and discrepancies. Lead test anomaly and troubleshooting efforts. Synthesize test plans and procedures with multi‑disciplinary teams, considering technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Ensure functional and technical specifications are met. Provide hardware/software interface solutions. Coordinate testing activities with support organizations. Brief test status or discrepancies to customer representatives or program management. Operate in a fast‑paced production environment that may require 24/7 support and travel. Basic Qualifications Active Top Secret with Poly graph clearance. Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience. Leadership experience in executing established procedures and processes. Previous test engineering experience. Proficiency with high‑level scripting languages (Python, PHP, Ruby, etc.) for automated test script development. Desired Skills Advanced software engineering or script architecture experience. Space vehicle integration and test program experience, including component and system‑level functional and environmental testing. Familiarity with electrical test equipment (bench‑top power supplies, oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators). Experience in space vehicle test operations: test development, execution, data analysis and anomaly resolution. Excellent technical writing, planning, verbal communication, and consensus‑building skills. Basic understanding of systems thinking. Security Clearance The position requires U.S. citizenship and a government security clearance at the TS/SCI w/Poly level.
