Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) - Non-Invasive Cardiology APP

The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC Health) is hiring an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) for its Non‑Invasive Cardiology program at Columbia Medical Center Northeast and Kershaw Medical Center. The role focuses on comprehensive, patient‑centered cardiovascular care, including evaluation, diagnosis, and medical management of cardiovascular conditions through non‑invasive cardiac testing and clinical assessment. Responsibilities Evaluate and manage patients across inpatient and outpatient settings as part of a multidisciplinary heart and vascular team. Conduct comprehensive cardiovascular assessments and develop evidence‑based treatment plans. Order, review, and interpret non‑invasive cardiac diagnostic studies such as ECGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, and ambulatory cardiac monitoring. Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide high‑quality care for conditions including coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, valvular disease, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and other cardiovascular disorders. Provide patient and family education focused on disease prevention, lifestyle modification, medication adherence, and long‑term heart health. Maintain timely documentation and billing and participate in professional organizations and continuing education to meet licensing and certification requirements.
