This role invites qualified and experienced individuals to serve as Member Consultant II within BECU’s North District. Pay Range The target pay range for this position is $26.00 – $32.12 hourly, based on relevant job‑related skills, experience, and education. Benefits 401(k) Company Match (up to 3%) 4% annual contribution to your 401(k) by BECU Medical, Dental and Vision (family contributions as well) PTO Program + Exchange Program Tuition Reimbursement Program BECU Cares volunteer time off + donation match Impact You'll Make As a Member Consultant II, you will deliver a seamless and high‑quality member experience, use product knowledge to identify and resolve members’ financial needs, and refer them to specialized services when necessary. What You'll Do Utilize product knowledge to provide excellent customer service and sales, including areas of business services, consumer lending, deposit servicing, IRA, POA, and Fiduciary accounts. Sign all line and loan documents that originate through outbound/inbound call center, ensuring each member’s needs are fulfilled. Assist community members with financial wellness through education programs, budgeting, debt management, and access to financial planning resources. Compensation Transparency Member Consultant: $26.00 – $28.00 per hour. Offers are often made within this range, taking into account experience, skills, and alignment with internal team compensation. Travel Expectations Training will take place at our Tukwila Financial Center. Reliable transportation and ability to travel to Tukwila and Lake Stevens/Stanwood/Marysville/Smokey Point is required. Training Schedule 12 weeks, Monday–Friday. Variable shifts between 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM. Post‑Training Schedule Variable shifts between Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM. Up to 3 Saturdays per month: 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related experience. Minimum two years of experience in a sales‑oriented, financial, or retail environment. Desired Qualifications One year of experience in a financial institution. Spanish language fluency highly desirable. Thorough understanding of the sales process and ability to manage a sales pipeline efficiently. Strong proficiency and comfort level with learning new systems and programs, and ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously. Ability to successfully complete a 12‑week in‑house training program after hire. Comprehensive understanding and knowledge of Credit Union key objectives, product and service solutions. Knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations pertaining to membership, deposit, and loan products and services offered. Proficient verbal and written communication skills to enable daily communication with members. Proficient math aptitude and analytical skills. Problem resolution, negotiating, organization, multi‑tasking and peer coaching skills. Ability to work flexible shifts. EEO Statement BECU is an equal opportunity employer.
