Account Representative

We are seeking an Account Representative that will act as a Site Manager for an assigned account in the Columbus, Georgia area, with the primary responsibility of creating value for the assigned customers through the technical service provided.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Maintaining business at the customer location and determining additional opportunities within customer location.
• Maintaining and growing revenue at customer location.
• Overseeing site projects and priorities, having ownership for the expected level of service provided, developing and maintaining business relationships.
• Leading and mentoring others on team, may assign work and schedule workflow.
• Providing value added consultative program control advice to our customers.
• Reviewing treatment programs and processes (cooling, boiler, wastewater treatment) to ensure effective applications through routine testing and monitoring resulting in customer satisfaction and business retention.
• Management of day-to-day activities and prioritization of projects and responsibilities.
• Development and support of site team.
• Conducting annual business reviews.
• Management of customer inventories on site including coordinating orders and deliveries.
• Maintaining and building business/customer relationships.
• Conducting the necessary site and LMS/classroom training programs to understand the overall operations of the territory plants and new customer sites.
• Developing and implementing sales plans on new opportunities including documenting ROI. Establishing, maintaining and prioritizing an accurate and current sales funnel in SFDC.
• Managing profitability of the accounts assigned.
• Reviewing territory applications and processes/procedures for safety improvements.

What You'll Bring:

• 5 years' experience in pulp and paper and water treatment.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical, engineering, or science related field.
• Proven sales track record with strong technical and selling skills.
• Experience providing field customer support including technical, operational and laboratory expertise.
• Ability to function independently as well as in a team environment.
• Effective communication skills - able to accurately and concisely convey complex technical concepts to all individuals of all levels of experience both in a written and oral format.
• Focus on safety.

Preferred Qualifications/Requirements:

• Working knowledge of industrial water and utility operations.
• Goal oriented individual who requires minimal day to day supervision.
• Experience of managing a team.
