Adecco Staffing is partenring with a local manufacturer in East Providence, RI to fill a Facilities/Machine Maintenance role. This position will be on 1st shift 8AM-4:30PM Mon-Fri.Job SummaryThe Maintenance / Facilities Technician is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving the functionality, safety, and appearance of assigned facilities and equipment. This role supports daily operations by performing preventive maintenance, responding to repair needs, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate is hands-on, dependable, and experienced in general building maintenance within an industrial or warehouse environment.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform routine preventive maintenance on building systems, equipment, and groundsTroubleshoot and repair facility-related issues including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and carpentry needsMaintain warehouse and production equipment as assignedRespond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repair situationsConduct regular inspections of facilities to identify safety hazards or maintenance needsCoordinate with external vendors and contractors as neededMaintain accurate maintenance logs, service records, and inventory of tools and suppliesEnsure compliance with OSHA, local, and state safety regulationsSupport improvement projects, facility upgrades, and general upkeepMaintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and toolsRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required2+ years of experience in maintenance, facilities, or building operationsWorking knowledge of general building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, basic mechanical)Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectivelyStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple tasksReliable attendance and strong safety awarenessIf interested in this opportunity please apply with an updated resume today!Pay Details: $25.00 to $40.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
