Director of Nursing Assistants - CNA/CMA

The Director of Nursing Assistants (DONA) is a state certified Nurse Aide who will function as a department head. This person will exemplify Advena Living standards of care and leadership qualities.

The DONA will be responsible for supervising CNA/CMAs in the nursing department for the following aspects: hiring, training, mentoring, ensuring required competency trainings are conducted and documented, nursing schedule, and compliance pieces.

Qualifications:

Certified as a Nurse Aide and Medication Aide in the State of Kansas or the willingness to complete the state requirements to obtain a certification
Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
