Job Description

The Packer/Skidder is responsible for packaging finished food products and preparing them for shipment in a fast-paced production environment. This role includes assembling packaging materials, labeling, and stacking products onto pallets while ensuring quality standards are met. Employees will work in a refrigerated environment and must follow all food safety and GMP guidelines. This position offers a stable opportunity with potential for long-term employment.

Responsibilities:

· Package and inspect finished food products for quality and accuracy
· Assemble boxes and prepare materials for production
· Stack products onto pallets (skids) and prepare for shipment
· Wrap, label, and secure pallets according to company standards

Qualifications and Requirements:

· Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
· Ability to lift up to 30–50 lbs as needed
· Comfortable working in a cold/refrigerated environment
· Strong attention to detail and reliable attendance

The base salary range for this position is $38,792–$38,792, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
