Childcare Teacher Shape children’s future as a foundational educator at The Sunshine House. Location 4955 Samet Drive, High Point, NC 27265 Compensation & Pay Range $15-$19 per hour. Candidates with advanced education may qualify for higher pay. Regular increases are considered with additional education, stellar performance, and years of service. Positions Available Floater Teacher – PT or FT Lead Infant Teacher Lead Twos Teacher Lead Toddler Teacher Lead Preschool Teacher Teacher Responsibilities Ensure a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment. Create an engaging classroom where children can learn, play and grow. Support children’s social and emotional development. Foster a love of learning through Creative Curriculum and Brain Connect programs. Build strong partnerships with families through daily app updates and personal discussions. Qualifications Passion for working with young children. At least 18 years old. High school diploma or equivalent required. EDU119/NCECC certification or a degree in early childhood or related field required for lead teachers. TAs and Floater teachers must have EDU119/NCECC certification or enroll within six months of hire. Previous experience working in licensed childcare preferred. Ability to pass background checks and health assessments. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs for child safety and emergencies. Benefits Same‑day pay available. Regular pay increases.
