Assistant Teacher

The Elegant Child Wildwood is a licensed childcare center seeking full-time Assistant Teachers for our 2-Year-Old Classroom or School Age program and Floater Teachers to support all age groups, Infants-Prek. To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require a high school diploma OR GED and the ability to pass all background checks. A plus if you have previous childcare experience! Required Shift Monday - Friday, (2s/Floating) 11am-5:30pm or 12-5:30pm OR split shift (School Age) 7:30-9:30am AND 2:30-5:30pm Compensation $15.50 - $17.00/ hr. based on education and experience. Implement activitiesthatencourage each child’s growth in the areas of emotion, social, cognitive, creative,and physical development. Take direction, accept constructive criticism,and feedback, and make improvements and changes as necessary for the betterment of the quality of the program. Createand maintain an environment that is clean and safe for all children. Establishing a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children. Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running,and climbing stairs.
