Operations Manager

This is a full-time on-site role for an Operations Manager, located in Waukegan, IL. The Operations Manager will oversee daily operational processes, manage resources and schedules, and ensure seamless execution of events. This pivotal role involves overseeing all facets of warehouse management, supply chain logistics, and distribution processes to ensure seamless production, inventory control, and order fulfillment. Responsibilities Oversee daily warehouse operations, including shipping & receiving, inventory management, and distribution activities to ensure timely delivery of custom footwear products. Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations Develop, implement, and enforce SOPs Create and track KPIs for productivity, accuracy, and efficiency Manage inventory systems and quality control Improve workflow and reduce operational bottlenecks Lead and hold staff accountable to performance standards Implement reporting systems and weekly performance reviews Supervise warehouse staff, including warehouse supervisors ensuring high productivity standards. Experience Proven experience in operations management within a warehouse or logistics environment, preferably in custom footwear or apparel industries. Extensive supervisory experience overseeing department heads in fast-paced settings with a focus on process optimization. Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles including inventory control, shipping & receiving, and warehouse distribution. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail in a high-volume environment.
