Account Manager - Carol Stream, IL
Salary: $57,000- $63,000
- Manage a portfolio of established customer accounts and strengthen relationships to support long-term partnerships.
- Consult with customers to identify their needs and recommend appropriate products, equipment, or solutions.
- Prepare accurate quotes based on customer requirements, product specifications, pricing, and availability.
- Oversee orders throughout the entire process, from initial entry and processing through shipment and delivery.
- Partner with production, operations, and logistics teams to coordinate availability, scheduling, and on-time fulfillment.
- Keep customers informed by monitoring open orders and communicating updates regarding availability, production status, and delivery expectations.
- Develop a strong understanding of the company’s products while staying informed on new offerings, industry developments, and emerging technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience; customer service, sales support, or industrial experience a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Mechanical/ technical aptitude.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business systems.
