Overview Physical Therapist – General in Kodiak, Alaska, United States. Travel assignment starting 10/05/2026 for Weeks with a weekly pay range of $2,548 to $2,661 and guaranteed hours of 70 per two weeks. Shift is Day shift, 5x8. Setting: Critical Access Hospital providing Acute Care, Long Term Care, and Outpatient services with Level IV trauma. Key Highlights Weekly pay: 2,548 to 2,661 USD per week Guaranteed hours: 70 hours per 2 weeks (may be reduced by one 10-hour shift every 2 weeks) Start date: 10/05/2026 Shift: Day shift, 5x8 Facility/work setting: Critical Access Hospital; Outpatient, Acute Care, and SNF coverage; Level IV trauma Housing and travel support: Facility provides housing and a rental vehicle; move-in window details apply Responsibilities Conduct PT evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients across Outpatient, Acute Care, and SNF settings Deliver evidence-based therapy, including wound care, lymphedema, pelvic floor, and pediatric services as per unit needs Perform daily therapy with a census typically 6–8 patients; document progress in Epic and communicate with the interdisciplinary team Collaborate on discharge planning and patient/family education; participate in care planning across services Float across Outpatient, Acute Care, and SNF within scope to cover schedules; no on-call and no weekend requirement Adhere to facility policies, including holiday coverage (3 of 5 listed holidays) Requirements Alaska PT license; compact license must be in hand at submission; active license required BLS certification Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience; first-time travelers accepted Epic charting experience Ability to work across Outpatient, Acute Care, and SNF; all ages (primarily adults/geriatrics); strong collaboration and communication References: 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years RTO/scheduling requests must be made up-front; local address restrictions apply (permanent address at least 50 miles from facility) Benefits and Support Housing provided: 1-bedroom apartment with a rental vehicle; move-in no earlier than 72 hours before contract start; housing must be vacated within 24 hours after contract end; pets not allowed; traveler responsible for cleaning Pre-start and orientation modules required (non-billable) 24/7 recruiter and travel support Extension opportunities and ongoing assignment support Housing and travel coordination included as part of the assignment Find more opportunities If you’d like to explore additional openings, you can view other opportunities at the Hiring Organization URL:
