1. st shift: 6:00 am to 2:00 pm
2. nd shift: 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm

Saturday and Sunday are part of the required work schedule with 1 to 2 days off during the week Sanitation technicians are on a rotating schedule to have a weekend off Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, nights, and holidays as needed Plant operates 24 hours/day, 7 days/week. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Responsible for Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) and managing sanitation activities Operate scissors and boom lift while doing MSS. Operate floor scrubber to clean and scrub the floors. Operate carboard baler, trash, and bakery feeds compactor. Operate COP tank for equipment parts and dip tank for the plates cleaning of spiral freezer and using pressure washer machine Clean outside surface of the silo. Understanding and following required programs, audits, fumigations, and documentation Responsible for proactive pest control inspections/documentation as a back up to Sanitation Lead Safe operation and maintenance of sanitation equipment, such as floor scrubber, COP tank, chemical foamer and industrial vacuum system Responsible for the maintenance of inside and outside facility/offices/grounds Cleaning and sanitation of the production lines, production and warehouse facility Timely and accurate completion of required inspections/documentation Safe operation of forklift and skid loader Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives to increase platform performance Assist in training new employees MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or GED Experience in a manufacturing/production environment preferred Experienced working with chemicals Minimum of 3 years sanitation experience Must possess the ability to understand and effectively communicate with co-workers, supervisors, and others in the workplace regarding work matters (our business is generally conducted in English) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, push, pull, and twist for extended periods Willingness to work in hot, cold, noisy, wet, or dusty conditions Ability to climb and/or work at heights while utilizing stairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or platforms Ability to follow human and food safety, quality, and grooming standards Ability to wear such as protective clothing and equipment (Personal Protective Equipment -PPE) such as safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard/bump cap, hair/beard net, gloves, and face masks (when required) Ability to work around high-speed machinery and food allergens PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Manufacturing or production experience
