Vonachen Group is currently seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join their team. Established in 1968, the company has grown into a regional leader in janitorial, industrial, and healthcare cleaning solutions across 14 states, including Illinois. Responsibilities include: · Oversee the monthly financial statement closing process and the generation of financial statements. · Manage the reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts on a regular basis. · Oversee accounts payable processing for all entities · Oversee invoicing process for all entities · Oversee accounts receivable for all entities · Heavy User of WinTeam Financial ERP platform · Primary interface with Team Financial on operating issues · Maintain Team Financial Systems (ERP) for security and accounts · Maintain licensing for vehicles for all entities · Work with external auditors to prepare annual reports · Support tax planning and reporting requirements · Other duties as assigned Job Requirements: o Must have reliable transportation as this position is onsite o Customer-oriented and friendly, works well with a diverse team o Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills including relationship management/building skills o Willingness to attend training related to industry practices and procedures o Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills o Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and reprioritize projects quickly as needed Education and Experience: o Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance o 3-5+ years of related work experience o CPA preferred (not required) o Master's degree a plus (not required) o Strong understanding of general accepted accounting principles (GAAP), business practices, and management principles o Ability to mentor team members o Strong focus on customer service o Prior leadership/management experience in related field Seniority level Seniority level Associate Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Accounting/Auditing Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Lucas James Talent Partners by 2x Inferred from the description for this job Medical insurance Get notified about new Accounting Manager jobs in Peoria, IL .
