Shipping & Receiving ClerkAs a Shipping & Receiving Clerk you'll be a key part of making sure materials and products are more efficient through our facility. You'll help receive parts and supplies, prepare orders for shipping, and support our team so we can deliver high-quality electrical products to our customers on time.Accountabilities:Receive deliveries and check them to make sure everything is correctPack and ship completed orders to customersMove materials to the right departments using a forkliftHelp track inventory by doing simple cycle countsKeep records up to date in our computer systemCommunicate with other teams to help keep work moving smoothlySupport a clean, safe, and organized workspacePerform other duties as assignedQualificationsRequired knowledge/Experience:1 year of experience in shipping and receiving, logistics, or a related areaForklift certification is a plus, but not required (we can help you get certified)Basic computer skills (we'll show you how to use our systems)Comfortable with lifting up to 50 lbs and doing hands-on workA team-first attitude and willingness to learnEducation:High School Diploma or GED, Required.Work Environment and Physical Demands:Must be able to use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), to include, but not limited to eye/ear/hand/feet protection.Physical exertion may vary. May be required to regularly stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, frequently stand or walk around the work area, and lift or move objects up to 50 lbs.Work responsibilities may involve manipulating small parts, using hand tools and repetitive motions. Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity are essential.Must be able to follow instructions and stay alert to potential hazards on the shop floor.Must be able to access and navigate each department at the assigned facilities.Manufacturing facilities can be loud and have bright lights. Temperatures subject to seasonal weather conditions (hot in summer and cold in winter months).Availability and ability to travel, as needed, between MCG manufacturing facilities and/or client sites.
