Facilities Maintenance Technician

Facilities Maintenance Technician We are seeking a reliable Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform installations, preventive maintenance, and repairs across facility and manufacturing equipment. This role ensures safe, efficient operations while supporting compliance with regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: Install & Repair: Perform facility and equipment installations, preventive maintenance, and repairs. Equipment Maintenance: Work on boilers, chillers, dust collectors, air-handling units, compressed-air systems, fire alarm systems, and other facility equipment. Multi-trade Work: Handle basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and light construction tasks. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair facility/manufacturing equipment; respond to emergency repairs. Preventive Maintenance: Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance per company procedures and regulatory requirements. Monitoring: Monitor facility and manufacturing equipment to identify operational issues. Vendor Coordination: Work with outside vendors/contractors when specialized services are required. Documentation: Maintain work orders, PM checklists, blueprints, permits, and other documentation. Regulatory Support: Participate in inspections with FDA, EPA, fire department, and utility authorities. Emergency Support: Provide after-hours/weekend emergency support when needed. Job Requirements: Education: High school diploma/GED; mechanical or electrical education preferred. Experience: Up to 5 years of facilities/maintenance experience. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC/mechanical, and general building maintenance. Industry Background: Experience in pharmaceutical, manufacturing, industrial, or regulated environments is valuable. Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot equipment independently.
