Job Description:


- Location: Asheville, NC - Saint Joseph Campus
- Unit: Geriatric Psychiatry
- Number of Beds: 9
- Staffing:
- Day Shift: 2 RNs, 2 BHTs, Sitters when assigned
- Night Shift: 1 RN, 2 BHTs, Sitters when assigned
- Patient Ratios: 5-9
- Equipment Used:
- Vital signs machine
- Hoyer lift
- Glucometer
- IVs
- Bladder scanner
- Bed alarms
- Chair alarms
- Crash cart
- EMR System: Cerner
- Ideal Candidate Skills:
- Caring and compassionate demeanor
- Strong assessment skills
- Team-oriented mindset
- Critical thinking abilities
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Behavioral Health and Medical fields
- Ability to de-escalate patients
- Flexibility in handling various situations
