Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Somerset, Kentucky.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: 09/14/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 36 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, nights\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Assignment Overview\n \n Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs\n Hours: 36 hrs/wk\n Start Date: Sep 14, 2026\n Length: 13 weeks\n Openings: 1\n Description\n American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Neuro Critical Care ICU position requiring 1-2 years of acute care experience and night shift availability.Details\n \n Work in the Neuro Critical Care ICU of a 295-bed acute care hospital\n Night shift schedule from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM\n 36 guaranteed hours per week\n Every other weekend required\n No on-call responsibilities\n May be required to float within a 25 mile radius of the facility\n Patient ratios of 4:1 on day shift and 5:1 on night shift\n Uses Meditech EHR system\n 13-week assignment\n Requirements\n \n Active RN license (Kentucky or Compact) currently in hand\n Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)\n 1-2 years of acute care experience required\n AHA certifications required\n Additional Information\n \n Provide critical care nursing services within a neurosurgery program accredited as a Spine Center\n Facility offers cardiac care and advanced neurosurgery services\n Weekly orientation held on Mondays\n Must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for the travel rate\n Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months\n Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment\n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-742732.
