Assistant Controller

SBCS has partnered with a growing international manufacturing company looking to add a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Controller to their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The Assistant Controller will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day financial operations of the company. Key Responsibilities Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and other financial reports Monitor and analyze budget vs. actual results Assist with the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes Support the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting Assist with special projects and ad-hoc financial analysis as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA designation is preferred Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Experience in a consulting or professional services environment is a plus We Offer Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunities for professional growth and development Collaborative and dynamic work environment Exposure to a wide range of industries and clients Supportive and inclusive company culture If you are a self-starter with a passion for finance and a desire to make a difference, we want to hear from you! #J-18808-Ljbffr Strategic Business Consulting Services
