Join the Mason City Clinic (MCC) in Mason City, Iowa—a multi‑specialty physician‑owned group—in a dynamic Cardiology department.

Opportunity Highlights

• Practice with 10 physicians, 10 fellows, and 7 NPs
• 1:6 call rotation with excess call +$500 per diem; fellows take 1st call
• Inpatient, outpatient, and diagnostic services; full range of cardiology—including non‑invasive, invasive, interventional, EP, and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) and cardioversions required
• Cardiology fellowship program: 3 residents/year and 1 interventional fellowship per year
• Outreach opportunities at 10 critical access hospitals within a 14‑county network
• Primary service area: ~260,000 people
• Located at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center—342‑bed regional referral teaching hospital, Level II trauma center with 24/7 ED, helicopter, state‑of‑the‑art cath labs

Package Details

• Competitive guaranteed base salary: $599,804/year + production (2‑year guaranteed base)
• $100,000 bonus package

Qualifications

• BC/BE—must be board certified within 3 years of becoming eligible
• H1B & J1 candidates encouraged to apply
• Completion of references, background check, pre‑employment physical, and drug screen required
• Graduate of an accredited medical/osteopathic medical school
• Demonstrated competency as a physician through completion of an appropriate residency program
• Ability to obtain Mercy Medical Center‑North Iowa medical staff privileges
• Above average communication skills
• Team‑orientation
• Licensed or eligible for State of Iowa physician license; Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate and Federal DEA Certificate
