Reviews and balances employee timecards against gate logs to ensure accuracy and completeness. Reviews new hire documentation to verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company requirements. Sets up new hires in company timekeeping systems. Files and organizes project payroll records while maintaining confidentiality. Runs, reviews, and distributes required daily reports. Communicates effectively with employees, supervisors, and internal stakeholders regarding payroll and timekeeping matters. Balances employee hours and payments, ensuring compliance with applicable state regulations, company policies, and contractual requirements. Reviews payroll data for accuracy before payroll submission. Runs and distributes required weekly payroll reports. Submits balanced payroll within established deadlines. Reviews and follows up on payroll discrepancies or corrections received from employees, supervisors, or district payroll teams. Develops and maintains strong customer-focused relationships with all stakeholders. Qualifications High school diploma. Some co-op experience timekeeping or payroll experience an asset. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills and a high level of detail orientation are required to maintain and submit all necessary documentation and meet deadlines and requirements. Ability to work independently or in a team environment, with strong interpersonal skills. Ability to act with the required discretion when handling confidential information. Flexibility regarding the schedule and the ability to mobilize to the site when required. Ability to establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
