You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. Position Type Part Time Pay Rate $23.50 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeSat04:00 AM - 04:00 PM Sun04:00 AM - 04:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols and reporting requirements. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, loading docks, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns. Monitor access points, verify credentials, and maintain awareness of deliveries, shipments, and contractor activity in accordance with site‑specific procedures. Complete detailed incident reports, daily activity logs, and shift documentation; communicate relevant security‑related information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements An armed guard card or license is required. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry‑specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
