Warehouse Associate IIf you have warehouse experience and know your way around a sit-down forklift, this could be the perfect opportunity to put your skills to work in a role that truly matters.This company provides truck brokerage, managed transportation, and delivery services.Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Warehouse Associate I Details:Temporary position$ 20.00 / hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Saturday from 06:00am to 02:30pm)Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders, and distributing orders for processing.Read and interpret customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, and shipped.Ensure the warehouse remains accessible, organized, and safe for employees and customer traffic.Perform all tasks in accordance with company safety policies and procedures.Assemble products and participate in inventory counts as needed.Take check calls from drivers to confirm delivery timelines.Validate load data prior to marking deliveries complete for accurate accounting.Monitor daily pickups and deliveries; verify loads arrive on time and in good condition.Warehouse Associate I Qualifications:Basic written and verbal communication skills.Basic computer skills.Ability to apply critical thinking to carry out instructions provided in written, verbal, or diagram form.Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 75 pounds occasionally.Ability to load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.Forklift experience (sit-down preferred).Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
