Key Responsibilities of the RN - Cardiology

• Perform large-bore IV starts, medication administration, and skin assessment
• Assist with arterial line, central line, and epidural placement
• Transport patients to OR; assist with induction/intubation, positioning, and skin prep

Requirements of the RN - Cardiology

• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Critical care experience a must; PreOp experience a plus
• Advanced skills in ACLS are needed
