Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – PCU / Stepdown / Telemetry – Nights

Location: Rock Island, IL
Shift: Night Shift | 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Hours: 36 Hours/Week

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Travel RN for the Cardiac Stepdown/Progressive Care Unit (PCU) . The RN will provide care to high-acuity telemetry patients in a Level 1 Trauma Center setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide safe, quality nursing care to PCU/Stepdown patients.
• Monitor patients requiring telemetry and cardiac care.
• Manage complex medical conditions and nursing interventions.
• Administer medications and titratable cardiac drips.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Document patient care using Epic EMR.

Requirements:

• Active Illinois RN License (IL License in hand required)
• Iowa RN License application required at offer
• Minimum 2 years Stepdown/PCU experience
• Previous travel RN experience preferred
• Experience with:
  • Chest tubes
  • Central lines
  • Trachs
  • Drains
  • CBI
  • Femstops
• Experience with cardiac medication titration:
  • Amiodarone, Cardizem, Nitro, Insulin, Heparin, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Milrinone, Argatroban

Certifications :

• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
