Central Oklahoma Community Mental Health Center (COCMHC), Norman, OK is currently recruiting for Licensed Behavioral Health Professionals who have the desire to support others in their recovery and wellness journey. This position will work alongside a robust treatment team to provide care for adults. • Licensed Behavioral Health Professionals (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or similar credentials) with a commitment to providing excellent care.
• Passionate individuals ready to work in a collaborative environment across a variety of departments, including outpatient services, admissions, and children's mental health.
• Professionals with a strong desire to support individuals with mental health and substance abuse challenges.

Job Type/Salary:

• Full-time positions
• Licensed Salary: $70,000.00 ($33.65/hr) + Benefits!
• Under Supervision Salary: $65,000.00 ($31.25/hr) + Benefits!
• FLSA Status: Non-Exempt or Exempt (Depending on if Licensed or not)
• Currently hiring for the Adult Outpatient, Intake, and Specialty Courts Departments!

Additional Compensation: Along with our great benefits we also offer additional compensation for working outside of normal business hours! These shift differentials are stacked on top of your base pay when working evenings, nights, weekends, or holidays.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• Licensed: Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or closely related field; and must be a practitioner with a license to practice in the state issued by one of the following licensure boards: Psychology; Social Work (clinical specialty only); Professional Counselor; Marriage and Family Therapist; Behavioral Practitioner; or Alcohol and Drug Counselor. (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LBP, LADC, LADC/MH)
• Under Supervision: Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or closely related field; and must be actively and regularly receiving board approved supervision, and extended supervision by a fully licensed clinician if board's supervision requirement is met by the individual is not yet licensed, to become licensed by one of the following licensure boards: Psychology; Social Work (clinical specialty only); Professional Counselor; Marriage and Family Therapist; Behavioral Practitioner; or Alcohol and Drug Counselor. (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LBP, LADC, LADC/MH)

About this Facility: COCMHC was opened in 1968 and was the nation's first community mental health center. It was funded through a federal grant program that has resulted in similar facilities throughout the country. Built on the premise that people suffering from mental illnesses would be better served in the community as opposed to an institution, the center has played a pivotal role in restoring the lives of countless area residents. COCMHC is located in Norman, Oklahoma and employs approximately 95 individuals from Norman and surrounding communities.
