AV Field Service Technician

AV Field Service Technician – NashvilleOur client, a leading provider in specialized audiovisual systems and solutions, is seeking an AV Field Service Technician based near Nashville, TN. This candidate will be serving the company's enterprise clients in the region, both in-house, WFH and field service calls.Scope of RoleThis position involves the support, troubleshooting and installation of audiovisual systems for commercial clients.Test, install, and configure the following audiovisual/videoconferencing equipment, microphones, sound speakers, video screens, projectors, video monitors, recording equipment, connecting wires and cables, sound and mixing boardsInterpret system drawings for technical tasksConduct crimp, solder, and fiber cable terminationsEvaluate and ensure all installations maintain best practice and our client's standardsTest remote control system programs at client sitesPrepare/stage systems for Quality Control (QC) Testing (as applicable)Education, Experience and Skills Requirements:Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related technical degree preferred, or equivalent experience3+ years experience with relevant field implementation as an AV Installer, Technician or Field Engineer.Must be comfortable with audiovisual cables, routers, and connectorsKnowledge of Crestron, AMX, Biamp, QSC, Dante/Audinate, Extron, Polycom & Cisco equipment helpfulKnowledge of Lighting and Digital Audio systems for performance helpful.
