Location: Forest Lake, MN Pay Rate: $25/hr Employment Type: Contingent with potential pathway for hire Schedule: Monday-Friday; shifts may vary between 6:45am-5:30pm (including opening, mid, and closing shifts as needed) Why This Role Matters As a Phlebotomist, you play a critical role in the patient experience and diagnostic process. Your expertise helps ensure accurate specimen collection while creating a positive, professional, and reassuring experience for every patient. What You'll Do Collect blood specimens using venipuncture and capillary collection techniques Process and prepare specimens for laboratory testing following established procedures Verify patient demographics and ensure accurate specimen labeling in the patient's presence Perform clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing duties Maintain required records, documentation, and confidentiality standards Provide exceptional customer service while creating a safe and professional environment Support multiple patient service locations as needed based on business demands Work independently while maintaining quality, accuracy, and productivity standards What We're Looking For A current, up-to-date resume High school diploma or equivalent required 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections Strong specimen collection, processing, and patient interaction skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment Excellent customer service and communication skills Keyboard and data entry experience Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel between locations as needed Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing staffing needs Ability to meet compliance requirements (MMR, Varicella, Tdap, and TB Test required; COVID and Flu vaccinations strongly recommended) What's In It For You Opportunity to make a direct impact on patient care Gain experience in a respected healthcare environment Diverse work settings and exposure to a variety of patient populations Supportive team environment focused on quality and service excellence Potential pathway to long-term employment opportunities Benefits for Manpower Associates (Upon Eligibility) Upon completion of waiting period associates are eligible for: Medical and Prescription Drug Plans Dental Plan Supplemental Life Insurance Short Term Disability Insurance 401(k)
