Quality Assurance Technician

Quality Control EngineerWork Model: This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.Position Overview:This role is part of a Quality Control team responsible for manufacturing quality engineering activities for current and new production at the Columbia City facility. The position works cross-functionally with plant personnel, Customer Service, and customers to support product quality, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement through Lean and quality systems.Key Responsibilities:Lead core quality activities including PPAP completion, RMA/customer return analysis, production quality issue resolution, and supplier quality management.Collaborate cross-functionally to develop, improve, and launch robust manufacturing processes and support new product introductions.Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives, including tooling/workstation improvements and cost reduction efforts.Manage supplier interactions, technical coordination, and manufacturing change processes (MCN), including feasibility reviews and component validation.Analyze equipment, processes, and technologies to support capital planning, product/process improvements, and overall operational efficiency.Required Skills and Qualifications:Minimum 2 years of quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and statistical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive decisions.Ability to work cross-functionally with strong communication, collaboration, and facilitation skills.Proficiency in computer applications (Excel, Word, project tools) and data analysis.Results-driven, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, AS9100, or IATF 16949 quality systems.ASQ certifications (e.g., Certified Quality Engineer) or willingness to obtain.Auditor certification/training (Lead or Internal Auditor) for applicable standards.Experience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.Physical Demands and Work Environment:Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, up to 25 pounds frequently to constantly.Must be able to constantly stand or sit for long periods of time as necessary in the work area.Restrictions imposed by federal export control laws may limit this job opportunity to candidates who are a 'U.S. Person', which includes U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, U.S. permanent residents, individuals granted asylum in the United States, and refugees in the United States, or who otherwise can qualify for a license that permits them to hold the position.Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring company sponsorship to obtain or keep U.S. work authorization.BenefitsMedical, Dental, Vision and Prescription Drug CoverageSpending accounts (HSA, Health Care FSA and Dependent Care FSA)Paid Time Off and Holidays401k Retirement Plan with Matching Employer ContributionsLife and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) InsurancePaid LeavesTuition AssistanceAbout Regal RexnordRegal Rexnord is a publicly held global industrial manufacturer with 30,000 associates around the world who help create a better tomorrow by providing sustainable solutions that power, transmit and control motion.
