Heavy Duty Truck and Trailer SVC Tech

Snider Fleet Solutions is seeking a skilled Truck and Trailer Mechanic to join our team across multiple locations. In this role, you will perform essential maintenance and repairs on heavy‑duty trucks and trailers, focusing on tasks such as preventive maintenance (PM), DOT inspections, and completing all associated paperwork. This position does not involve heavy engine or transmission repair. We Offer Paid Time Off (PTO) & Paid Holidays 401(k) with company match Medical/Dental/Vision and Employer‑Paid Life/Short‑Term Disability Professional development opportunities within the company Training program to ensure all employees receive thorough training Qualifications Minimum 3+ years of diesel mechanic experience – required Valid Class C Driver's License Federal Annual and Brake Inspector certification required (within 6 months of hire) Responsibilities Conduct routine maintenance tasks and accompanying documentation Repair and maintain heavy‑duty trucks and trailers Perform preventive maintenance inspections, brake job, brake chamber, and slack adjuster replacement, wheel seal replacement and wheel end adjustment Identify all system parts for potential damage, excessive wear, loose bolts, broken welds, structural deficiencies, air leaks, oil leaks, or rusted components, and ensure safety devices on all types of trailers Complete DOT forms and all other required documentation accurately Accurately fill out work order forms and ensure all parts are included Follow safety protocols and company policies Skills and Abilities Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and instructions Strong problem‑solving skills with a customer‑service focus Ability to work in a results‑oriented, fast‑paced environment Pass background check and drug screening Snider Fleet Solutions is an equal opportunity employer.
