Job Title: Production Manager Job Description

The Production Manager is responsible for maintaining a safe and clean working environment, ensuring adherence to 5S practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards. This role involves monitoring the production schedule, coordinating activities, and resolving problems to maintain brand and company reputation by adhering to strict product standards and regulations.

• Monitor production schedule, coordinate activities, and resolve problems.
• Adhere to strict product standards and comply with federal and state regulations to maintain brand and company reputation.
• Contribute to team effort by helping accomplish KPI-related results and respond to employee questions.
• Work closely with Plant staff to identify and execute continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage two 24/7 Production Line operations with eight crews, including planning, assigning work, adjusting schedules, resolving work problems, and inspecting materials.
• Maintain production initiatives to ensure tasks and responsibilities are completed correctly and on time.
• Identify and communicate challenges, opportunities for improvement, and strategic initiatives with the Operations Manager and Leadership team.
• Assist with staffing for open positions, analyze workforce requirements, and evaluate and train staff.
• Mentor and develop the team of Production Supervisors through cross-training and setting clear objectives.
• Support maintenance personnel in troubleshooting, rebuilding, and redesigning manufacturing equipment.
• Collaborate with peers at other locations to share best practices.
• Perform assessments of production crews to identify opportunities to strengthen team member knowledge.

This position is performed in an office, manufacturing, and warehouse environment. It is subject to varying temperatures, wet and humid conditions, loud noises, moving mechanical parts, occasional exposure to high places, fumes or airborne particles, and the risk of electrical shock and vibration. It may require working outside regular business hours and involves repetitive work in a fast-paced, highly productive environment. 1st Shift.

This is a Permanent position based out of Franklin, IN.

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $140000.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Franklin,IN.
