Job Description

Join a global industry leader as a Warehouseman I and play a key role in supporting warehouse, inventory, and production operations. This position is ideal for individuals with warehouse, forklift, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing experience who are looking for a long-term opportunity with excellent benefits and room for advancement.

You'll be responsible for receiving materials, managing inventory, operating material handling equipment, and helping maintain an organized and efficient warehouse operation.

What You'll Do

• Receive and verify incoming shipments.

• Move materials to and from warehouse stock locations.

• Enter inventory transactions into the warehouse management system.

• Store materials in designated locations and maintain inventory accuracy.

• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory control processes.

• Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts.

• Utilize pallet jacks, cranes, hoists, and other material handling equipment.

• Identify and isolate non-conforming materials.

• Support production by ensuring materials are available when needed.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

What We're Looking For

• Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, inventory, or manufacturing experience.

• Forklift experience preferred.

• Experience with inventory tracking and cycle counting is a plus.

• Comfortable using computers and inventory management systems.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain certification).

• Experience operating overhead cranes, hoists, or related lifting equipment.

• ERP or warehouse management system experience.

• Background in manufacturing or industrial environments.

• Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
