Expected pay for this position is $27.26- $32.06/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is in addition to our generous time-off benefits.Position SummaryThe Physical Therapist Assistant, under the general supervision of a Physical Therapist, assists in administering the Physical Therapists' treatment plan. Administers and monitors patient's response to therapeutic exercises, transfer training, gait training, and other treatments in accordance with the physical therapists treatment plan.QualificationsRequired QualificationsAssociate's degree in Physical TherapyState license as Physical Therapist AssistantCPR certification within 90 days of hireStrong written, oral and interpersonal skills to work well with others and to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other treatment team members when gathering and exchanging patient condition information.Analytical ability to identify and report changes in patient's condition to a physical therapist.Excellent computer skills and the ability to process detailed information in an accurate manner.Preferred QualificationsPrevious experience as a Physical Therapist AssistantValid driver's licenseOSF Healthcare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
