Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Intensive Care Unit NurseDelivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment.Total Bed Count: 47 Bed Types and How Divided: Tele beds: 43, Dialysis beds: 4Staffing Ratios: Days 1:4 Nights 1:4 Weekends 1:4Schedule Requirements: Call Required: No Float Required: Staff may be floated to accommodate low staffing on other inpatient units. Weekend Coverage: Weekends are staffed the same as week days. Full time staff are required to work half of the weekend shifts. Scheduling Type: Staffer creates the schedule.Unit Systems: Medication System: Omnicell Documentation System: Epic Support: IV Teams: Yes, Dayshift Lift Teams: No Pharmacy: Yes, 24/7 Phlebotomy: Yes, 24/7 Transportation: Yes, 7am-10:30pm Unit Secretary: YesDepartment Patient Registration Provider Coverage: Intensivist: Yes, 24/7 Hospitalist: Yes, 24/7Additional Unit Information: Equipment: Telemetry Monitors Special Procedures: Cardioversion, ECHO, Cath Lab procedure recovery
